Estiatorio Marmo: Chic Mediterranean Café & Steakhouse in Montréal

The barista was very nice and patient with any questions. The iced matcha latte with oat milk is lovely with a touch of honey and is made with ceremonial grade matcha. There is also plenty of seating inside including bar seating.

What an evening! Delicious cocktails from a creative bartender, delicious apps and mains that hit all the taste buds, combined with a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Montreal just welcomed a bold and playful new spot, and trust me, Estiatorio Marmo is not your average café or steakhouse. By day (8 AM–3 PM), it’s a Mediterranean-inspired café serving up specialty coffee and pastries. By night (from 5 PM), it transforms into a full-on steakhouse—and I’m already planning a return visit for the dinner vibes. I dropped by during their café hours and was immediately struck by the atmosphere. The interior feels like a chic hotel bar—modern, stylish, and cozy—with a splash of humor thanks to black-and-white portraits of iconic comedians on the wall. But the real surprise? South Park silhouettes on the cups and plates. Yup, Randy Marsh and Eric Cartman were my cappuccino companions, and honestly, I love it. I went for a café freddo, which was perfectly bold, smooth, and topped with just the right amount of frothy foam. Refreshing and flavorful—it hit the spot. To go with my coffee, I indulged in two pastries: • Almond Cake: Moist, rich, and full of nutty goodness—like a sweet Mediterranean hug. • Chocolate-Covered Cream-Filled Cake: Light, creamy, and topped with in chocolate. Imagine a fancy Euro snack cake, but better. While I haven’t tried their evening steakhouse menu yet, the creativity and quality of their café offerings already have me curious (and hungry) for more. Such a beautiful cafe during the day. Great ambiance, fancy and comfortable. The hot coco was very good and they have different milk options. The almond scone was extremely good. The coffee itself is a bit expensive but I think it's mtl prices. I will be coming back no doubt and will try their restaurant in the evening some day! Also, the girl who is here during the day is so kind and welcoming!

The food and the service are great! They also have the best iced coffee! The staff is very friendly and the overall is experience was amazing. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is beautiful, with a warm atmosphere and excellent service. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the prices are far too high for a neighborhood restaurant — the cheapest item on the menu was around $40, which likely explains why the place was nearly empty. It’s a real shame, because the space has so much potential. There’s a stunning pizza oven sitting unused — adding some affordable pizza and pasta options would make a huge difference and attract more locals. Overall, great service and ambiance, but the pricing just doesn’t fit the neighborhood.

Went for dinner with my two friends. First time . The restaurant is stunning amazing decor , very inviting. Chill cool comfortable. We ordered appetizers octopus, shrimp saganaki , beef tartare, and a Greek salad. One bottle of Greek red wine NEMEA . And 2 scotches . The scotch had one big ice cube . Really well done very presentable. Service was excellent, we were the only table there the whole night. Then we ordered 3 ribeye steaks they were delicious the mash potatoes and vegetables fresh and well seasoned. Food amazing. Only the Greek salad was very disappointing 4 pieces of tomato barely any olive oil for price a rip-off. The only problem with this restaurant is that it’s very very expensive overpriced extremely expensive. The cheapest bottle of wine that night was 90$ our bill came to 790$ plus tip 900$ like I said food atmosphere amazing but the owner should check his prices
